St. Croix River, Maine

Our St. Croix River is the international boundary between Maine and New Brunswick, Canada. We like to fish the main stem of the St. Croix River below Vanceboro, ME to Little Falls and we also fish the river and flowage below Grand Falls.

We offer drift boat fishing trips on the upper stretches where fishing from a Grand Lake Canoe is more difficult.  We fish approximately 10 miles of river  that is teaming with smallmouth bass and during the spring, landlocked salmon and brook trout too.

The St. Croix has long been a favorite of wilderness canoeists and is listed as a Natural Heritage River for the Province of New Brunswick.  Whether you travel by drift boat or canoe/kayak, a day on the St. Croix River will entertain all travelers whether you are fishing or just floating.

Gentle whitewater with names like Little Falls, Tunnel Rips, Wingdam Island all add to the day’s excitement, if the fishing and scenic beauty are not enough – and combined, make for a day that will be enjoyed and remember for years to come.

Rates for canoe trips include shuttle fees and are per guide.  Canoe rental fees may apply for larger groups. Drift boats can accommodate two fishing adults on guided fishing trips.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the St Croix River! We caught lots of fish and enjoyed a peaceful day on the water. Loved it!
