The Grand Lake Canoe is the quintessential Maine fishing craft. Designed and built by Grand Lake’s Registered Maine Guides in the early 1900’s, the canoes were engineered to move across our large lakes safely and efficiently. The squared off stern accommodates an 8 to 10 HP outboard. The canoe will carry three adults comfortably and allow for two anglers to stand simultaneously while casting spinning or fly rods. Crafted by generations of canoe builders and guides, construction techniques have been refined and perfected. There is no finer canoe built anywhere. Built with locally grown and sawed eastern white cedar ribs and planks, trimmed with the finest hardwoods and finished with canvas or fiberglass. Custom order only.
